Family Entertainment Television has hired Kyle Patten away from Univision to lead performance sales initiatives for the company.

Patten will serve as Family Entertainment TV’s Senior Vice President of Performance Sales, where he will oversee sales-related initiatives for the company’s flagship channel, FETV, and sister movie network Family Movie Classics (FMC). He will be based in New York and report to Michael DuPont, the Executive Vice President of National Sales.

“I am thrilled to join FETV as the new Head of Performance Sales,” Patten said in a statement. “I look forward to building on FETV’s and FMC’s ongoing success by leveraging my twenty-plus years of experience to drive revenue growth and introduce new brands.”

Patten brings more than two decades of sales experience to Family Entertainment TV, having worked for entertainment brands like Turner Broadcasting, Discovery Communications and, most recently, Univision.

“We are delighted to have Kyle join our sales organization as head of the performance media team,” said DuPont. “His expertise, industry relationships, and motivation are all critical attributes for growing both revenue and new advertising partners for the future.”

FETV and FMC are carried across many of the leading pay television platforms in the country, including DirecTV, Comcast’s Xfinity TV and Dish Network. The channels clear national distribution through their availability on two budget-conscious streaming services: Frndly TV and Philo.
