The second season of Paramount’s “Frasier” reboot will see the famed psychologist return to Seattle for at least one episode, the entertainment brand announced this week.

The show, which streams exclusively on Paramount Plus, saw Dr. Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) leave his beloved KACL radio show in pursuit of a professorship at Harvard University during the first season of the reboot.

But, as they saying goes, “there’s no place like home.”

Few details were released by Paramount about the plot line for the Seattle episode, but the episode will see several guest stars reprise their classic roles, including Dan Butler as Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, Edward Hibbert as Gil Chesterton and Harriet Sansom Harris as Dr. Crane’s agent, Bebe Glazer. Peri Gilpin will also return in a recurring guest star role as Roz Doyle. Other guest stars include Rachel Bloom, Yvette Nicole Brown, Greer Grammer, Patricia Heaton and Amy Sedaris.

Paramount produced the first 11 seasons of Frasier, which aired on NBC before entering into syndication. All 11 seasons of the show are available to stream on Paramount Plus, as is the first season of the reboot, which is exclusive to the service.

Season 2 of the “Frasier” reboot will start with a two-episode debut on Thursday, September 19 in the U.S. and Canada, and Friday, September 20 in the United Kingdom and Australia. One new episode will drop every Thursday or Friday from that point on. Release dates for other territories will be announced in the future. In some parts of the world, the reboot is distributed by Sky Showtime, which operates as a joint venture between Paramount and Comcast’s NBC Universal.
