Free streaming app NewsOn is launching local news feeds for eight more stations through a partnership between parent company Sinclair, Inc. and News Press & Gazette Company (NPG).
The eight stations being added to NewsOn include three in California and one each in Oregon, Texas, Idaho, Colorado and Missouri.
“NPG is pleased to expand the footprint of our local station brands and take advantage of the excellent streaming technology offered by this new partnership with NewsOn,” said Michael Fabac, the Vice President of Content and Station Promotion at NPG.
The eight stations joining NewsOn this week are:
- KESQ (Channel 42, ABC) in Palm Springs, California
- KEYT (Channel 3, ABC & CBS) in Santa Barbara, California
- KIFI (Channel 8, ABC & CBS) in Idaho Falls, Idaho
