Subaru will make SiriusXM satellite radio available as a standard feature across its entire 2025 model line-up in the United States
The decision builds on a long-standing partnership between the two brands, which has seen SiriusXM satellite radio tuners available as an option in most Subaru sedans, crossovers and SUVs, including the Impreza, Legacy, WRX, BRZ, Forester, Crosstrek, Outback, Ascent and Solterra models with certain in-car infotainment systems.
“We are excited to continue expanding our relationship with Subaru by making SiriusXM a standard feature across their entire lineup of vehicles,” said Gail Berger, the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Automotive Partnerships at SiriusXM. “Every Subaru customer will now have the opportunity to experience and enjoy SiriusXM’s extensive lineup of ad-free music channels, plus live sports, news, entertainment and comedy programming in their new vehicle.”
The decision to include SiriusXM as a standard feature comes about a year after Subaru agreed to start installing radio head-ends that are capable of utilizing the satcasters’ 360L platform, which combines traditional satellite radio channels with more than 400 online-only streaming stations.
New and certified pre-owned Subaru vehicles come with a four-month free trial to SiriusXM, which includes more than 200 channels of news, sports, talk radio, entertainment and commercial-free music.

In addition to SiriusXM, most Subaru vehicles also offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as a standard feature, along with traditional AM and FM radio tuners.
