Verizon is offering some of its wireless phone and home Internet customers the opportunity to watch the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube for free — as long as they’re willing to pay for the perk.
Starting this week, new customers who sign up for the Unlimited Plus, Unlimited Ultimate or Home Internet plans and who purchase a premium smartphone device like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Google Pixel Fold will be eligible to receive the NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube or YouTube TV without cost this season.
The same is true for existing customers who add an eligible line of service to their Verizon account and purchase a premium handset as part of that activation.
Existing wireless and home Internet customers who don’t want to add a new line or buy a new handset can still score $100 off the NFL Sunday Ticket package when purchased through YouTube or YouTube TV. The NFL Sunday Ticket costs $350 per season when purchased as part of YouTube TV, which itself costs $73 per month, or $450 per season when purchased as an à la carte option through YouTube’s streaming marketplace Primetime Channels.
Verizon has enjoyed a long partnership with the National Football League (NFL) over the years, serving as the football franchise’s exclusive wireless brand. In addition to the NFL Sunday Ticket perk, Verizon customers enjoy discounted regular-season tickets through the company’s loyalty platform, Verizon Access.
