DirecTV Stream is hoping to win over new streaming television customers with a deep discount on two of its popular packages heading into the start of the National Football League’s (NFL) regular season.
Starting August 9, new DirecTV Stream customers who sign up for service by clicking or tapping this link can score over 90 live channels through the Entertainment package for just $50 per month for three months, a savings of $30. Entertainment includes local ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC stations and affiliates, plus sports-inclusive channels like ESPN and Fox Sports 1.
New customers who want more channel options can purchase the Choice package through this link, which will shave $39 off the monthly price for three months, bringing the cost down to just $70 per month. The Choice package includes all broadcast and cable channels from the Entertainment package, plus ESPN News, NFL Network, NBA TV, Golf Channel, MLB Network, the Tennis Channel and regional sports channels.
- DEAL: Get DirecTV Stream’s Entertainment package for $50/month for three months (normally $80/month)
- DEAL: Get DirecTV Stream’s Choice package for $70/month for three months (normally $109/month)
- DEAL: Get DirecTV Stream’s Ultimate package for $90/month for three months (normally $120/month)
DirecTV offered a similar promotion earlier this year for National Streaming Day. It proved to be a hit with cord-cutters, with the company saying it saw double the amount of new DirecTV Stream customers during the promotional period. So, just in time for the start of the NFL’s regular season (and while pre-season football games are starting up across the country), DirecTV said it wanted to bring the promotion back to help streaming-focused customers get access to live games on their phones, tablets and smart TVs.
For the real sports junkie, DirecTV Stream is also offering a discount on its all-inclusive Ultimate package, which costs just $90 per month for three months when customers sign up by clicking or tapping this link — a savings of $30 each month. The Ultimate package includes all broadcast and cable channels from Entertainment and Choice, plus CBS Sports Network, Fox Sports 2, NHL Network and movie channels like Starz Encore and FXM.
The DirecTV Stream offers end on September 5.
