Fox Weather on Friday will debut a new video podcast that offers an exclusive look at weather forecasts for key National Football League (NFL) match-ups every week.

The video podcast, called “Storming the Field,” will debut Friday, September 6. Hosted by Fox Weather meteorologists Ian Oliver and Steve Bender, Storming the Field will leverage the channel’s exclusive Risk of Weather Impact (ROWI) forecast model to break down how the weather might impact each NFL match-up for games played on Sunday and Monday each week and Thursdays of the following week. (The NFL’s football week runs Thursdays through Mondays.)

Each week will also see a special guest join Oliver and Bender to help dissect each forecast and preview the upcoming football games. Free agent NFL running back Melvin Gordon III will serve as the special guest for the first episode.

Storming the Field will be available each week via the Fox News Podcasts webpage and the Fox Weather YouTube account. Episodes will also air Friday nights at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Fox Weather’s free, ad-supported streaming TV channel, available on platforms like Tubi, Pluto TV, Xumo Play, YouTube TV, Fubo, Sling TV and DirecTV Stream. Fox Weather is also carried as a multicast network on Fox-owned television stations in major markets, including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Atlanta and Houston, among others.

Fox Weather is operated by Fox News Media, a division of Fox Corporation.
