Satellite and streaming radio provider SiriusXM has expanded its content agreement with Comcast’s NBC Universal that will see two additional NBC News channels added to the service, the companies announced this week.

Starting Thursday, SiriusXM’s subscribers can listen to audio simulcasts of two NBC News free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels — NBC News Now and Dateline 24/7.

Dateline 24/7 (SiriusXM Channel 107) will be available on SiriusXM’s satellite and streaming platforms, while the NBC News Now simulcast will be available on SiriusXM’s streaming radio platform, the company affirmed in a statement.

The agreement also expands the availability of other NBC News-produced audio channels that have been available on SiriusXM for years, including simulcasts of CNBC (SiriusXM Channel 112), MSNBC (SiriusXM Channel 117) and Today Show Radio (SiriusXM Channel 108). The deal does not involve NBC Sports Audio (SiriusXM Channel 85), which joined the SiriusXM lineup four years ago and is negotiated through a separate deal with NBC’s national sports unit.

SiriusXM satellite radio tuners are available in most newer cars and trucks. Standalone tuners are also available on the SiriusXM website. SiriusXM’s streaming radio service works with all modern phones, tablets and connected TV devices, as well as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa-powered smart speakers.
