Broadband Internet provider Brightspeed is launching a customer appreciation initiative that will see the company offer streaming credits through the MyBundle platform.

Starting this month, eligible Brightspeed customers will receive an email with the equivalent of a $20 gift card, which they can spend through the MyBundle streaming marketplace.

Brightspeed began offering a white label version of the MyBundle streaming recommendation tool and marketplace earlier this year. The tool asks users to select which linear broadcast and cable channels they want out of a streaming service, as well as other types of programming, then directs them to one or more Internet-based services that carry most, if not all, of the channels and programming they desire.

MyBundle began offering streaming credits some time ago, and Brightspeed is one of the first to tap into the feature as part of a customer loyalty initiative.

“The holiday season is a time when families gather to celebrate, enjoy a meal and watch movies or sports together,” Courtland Madock, the President of Brightspeed’s Consumer Group, said in a statement on Friday. “We want to help make those gatherings more entertaining for our loyal Brightspeed Fiber Internet customers with a gift of appreciation.”

Eligible Brightspeed customers should look out for an email from the company with a unique web link that will allow them to redeem their $20 streaming credit through the MyBundle platform. The credits can be applied to new or existing streaming subscriptions, the company said.

Customers will have until December 31 to redeem the streaming credit offer. Once activated, subscribers have until December 31, 2025 to use the credit.

Brightspeed is based in North Carolina and provides fiber-based Internet service across 20 states. The company bills itself as the fourth-largest broadband Internet provider in the country, reaching 6.5 million homes and businesses.
