Optimum is launching two new pay television packages that allow subscribers to access a wealth of entertainment, news and sports channels at varied price points.

The packages, called “Extra TV” and “Everything TV,” build on the budget-conscious “Entertainment TV” package that Optimum introduced earlier this year, which offers more than 80 entertainment, lifestyle and knowledge-based networks like A&E, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and Paramount Network for $30 per month.

Starting November 4, Optimum customers will be able to choose from the two new options, which include all the channels offered in the Entertainment TV package with dozens more.

Extra TV will cost $85 per month, and includes access to local broadcast channels affiliated with ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC, along with networks like Disney Channel, ESPN, Fox News Channel, USA Network and Bravo.

Everything TV kicks things up a notch by unlocking access to Starz Encore, FX Movie Channel, Turner Classic Movies and sports channels like NFL Network, YES, MSG Networks for $140 per month.

While Entertainment TV is accessible through Optimum Stream device for Optimum Internet subscribers, Extra TV and Everything TV will be available through Optimum Stream and traditional cable set-top boxes, The Desk has confirmed. The Optimum Stream device utilizes a customer’s existing broadband Internet service to deliver live video, and is available in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut markets; Optimum is expanding its access to other markets, including Arizona, California and Texas, throughout the year.

“Over the last year, we’ve been on a mission to transform Optimum’s TV products and experiences for our customers,” said Leroy Williams, the Executive vice President and Chief Growth and Innovation Officer at Optimum. “From expanding availability of Optimum Stream to introducing new and innovative TV packages that offer options catered to our customers’ unique viewing preferences, this unwavering commitment has led us into a new era for Optimum TV, offering customers even more choice, flexibility and value when choosing their TV content.”

Williams said the launch of Extra TV and Everything TV, together with Entertainment TV, help round out Optimum’s offering of price-conscious, flexible pay television packages.

“At Optimum, we remain hyper-focused on  putting our customers at the center of everything we do, and we will continue to innovate and evolve  our video offerings to ensure we provide the best possible viewing experiences for consumers,” Williams said.

Optimum is owned by Altice USA.
