Sports broadcaster Jim Rome’s eponymous radio program will soon air a bit later in the day.

Starting January 6, “The Jim Rome Show” will air live during the week from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time, or about three hours later than its current noon to 3 p.m. time slot.

“I am thrilled to be part of the premium content that defines Westwood One; a preeminent industry leader when it comes to providing live sports coverage to the most passionate audiences,” Rome said in a statement. “This new time slot is an incredible opportunity to connect with new listeners and broaden our audience, and will allow for more access to athletes and titans in the sports world.”

The move coincides with a new distribution agreement that will see the show syndicated exclusively by Cumulus Media’s Westwood One, which will make it available to hundreds of AM and FM radio stations throughout the country. Currently, the show is distributed by Audacy’s Infinity Sports Network, where it also airs on a similar-branded channel on SiriusXM. It wasn’t clear from an announcement on Monday if SiriusXM will continue to carry the program after this month, but the show will still simulcast on Rome’s X (formerly Twitter) account each day.

“Jim Rome is a natural addition to Westwood One’s powerful portfolio of sports programming. His unique voice, unparalleled sports insight, and dynamic style have cultivated a dedicated audience that we look forward to welcoming,” said Collin Jones, the President of Westwood One. “Additionally, this partnership marks an exciting chapter for Westwood One, as we continue to deliver top-tier content for our audiences and our advertising partners.”

Portions of the Jim Rome Show air in regular rotation on the Jim Rome FAST Channel, which is produced in partnership with A+E Networks and available on free streaming platforms like Amazon Freevee and Prime Video, DirecTV Stream, LG Channels, Plex, Samsung TV Plus, Sling Freestream and Vizio’s WatchFree Plus. The FAST channel will continue to operate with the shift of Rome’s radio program from Infinity Sports Network to Westwood One.
