
Fox News Digital logged more than a billion video views across social media platforms for the first time in January, according to measurement data released this week.
The digital extension of the Fox New Channel finished January with more than 121 million total digital unique multiplatform visitors — its third-highest month in the brand’s history and continuing its lead over its competitors.
During January, Fox News Digital had 4.6 billion total multiplatform minutes, an increase of 40 percent compared to January 2024, while its multiplatform views clocked in at 2.2 billion, a year-over increase of 30 percent.
Fox News also saw 121.8 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors, an increase of 11 percent compared to January of last year, and was the most-engaged news outlet on YouTube, as previously reported by The Desk. The measurement data was from Comscore.
By comparison, CNN saw a 1 percent dip in multiplatform views and a 14 percent decrease i multiplatform minutes, with its multiplatform visitors also down 1 percent, the Comscore data showed.
Meanwhile, Fox Business drove more than 160 million multiplatform views in January, surpassing its next closest competitor, CNN BUsiness, for the 34th-straight month. It also had higher viewership compared to Bloomberg. Fox Business saw 254 million multiplatform minutes and 23 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors during January, according to Comscore.
