Fox News was the most-viewed brand on YouTube during the month of January, achieving 410 million video views, according to data from social measurement firm Emplifi.

The viewership was around 145 percent higher than Fox’s next closest competitor, NBC News, with the gap averaging around 212 million views.

Fox News was bolstered by a number of key events in January, including the network’s coverage of wildfires in Southern California, the winding down of President Biden’s term in the White House and the inauguration of President Trump to a second non-consecutive term.

On YouTube, Fox News’ audience increased 74 percent compared to December 2024, achieving higher growth than CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, CBS News and the New York Times.

Excluding Fox, NBC was first among the network’s core competitive set on YouTube, reaching 198 million video views in January. MSNBC — which is counted separate from NBC News — was not too far behind with 153 million views, followed by ABC News with 140 million views.
