Local advertising firm Viamedia has appointed Robert Benoit as its new Chief Financial Officer as the company focuses on new growth initiatives for its business.
Benoit’s hiring comes weeks after Viamedia announced it was acquiring digital advertising company LocalFactor and realigning its executive leadership team with the same goal in mind.
In the CFO role, Benoit will work closely with Viamedia’s leadership team, bankers, auditors and private equity partners to execute on financial growth strategies and help prepare the company to scale its oeprations.
Benoit joins from Rev.io, an automation software provider for communications and technology service providers.
“Robert is the right fit for this role; his experience, leadership and mentorship qualities, and ability to engage teams strategically will make an immediate impact,” said David Solomon, the CEO of Viamedia. “Importantly, he embodies our company’s culture. He’s knowledgeable and collaborative, and he’ll help position Viamedia for long-term success.”
