Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) has inked a distribution deal with the parent company of the free TV app Local Now to offer nearly two dozen of its content streams through the platform.
Starting this week, streamers with the Local Now app on their phones, tablets and smart TVs will have access to news and sports-filled channels like “CNN Originals,” “CNN Headlines” and “Bleacher Report,” along with more than a dozen lifestyle and entertainment channels like “Paws & Claws” and “Sweet Escapes.”
The deal marks the latest distribution agreement with WBD for its free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels, which are also available on competing apps like Plex, Paramount Global’s Pluto TV and Fox-owned Tubi.
In addition to English-language streams, Local Now will also offer eight WBD-owned Spanish-language channels, including “CNÑ Xpress,” “TuWarner” and “Crimen de WBTV,” some of which include Spanish translations of hit WBD-owned series.

- Ghosts Are Real — True stories of ghosts, goblins, and other out-of-this-world entities with shows including Ghost Brothers, Paranormal Lockdown, and Ghost Asylum.
- How To — Find the answers to some of the world’s most interesting questions with curiosity-inspiring series including How It’s Made, How to Build Everything, and How the Earth Works.
- Love & Marriage — Say “I do” to all the best wedding stories waiting for you at the end of the aisle with shows including Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta, Four Weddings, and A Wedding Story.
- MotorTrend FAST — Rev up with automotive shows such as Roadkill, Bitchin’ Rides, and Texas Metal.
- Mysterious Worlds — Stories of unexplained, unsolved, and unknown mysteries from around the world including shows like Mysteries at the Museum, Mysteries at the Monument, and Off Limits.
