Key Points:

  • Cleeng Pro lets users launch a D2C subscription service in under 60 minutes, free for up to 10,000 subscribers.
  • The platform includes subscription management, analytics, identity control, and optional Merchant of Record services.
  • Backed by partners like JW Player and Sportradar, Cleeng Pro targets entrepreneurs, agencies, and enterprises testing new subscription models.

Cleeng, the technology firm that publishes Subscriber Retention Management (SRM) solutions, has introduced Cleeng Pro, a direct-to-consumer subscription management platform that can be deployed in less than an hour.

The service is offered free of charge for up to 10,000 subscribers and carries no integration fees. Company officials said the product is designed to make building or scaling a subscription service accessible to a broader range of users, including entrepreneurs and developers who may not have extensive technical expertise.

Cleeng Pro borrows technology from the company’s enterprise-grade platform, which supports services operated by the National Football League (NFL), Big 10 Network, Sinclair and BeIN Media Group. Cleeng Pro is geared toward digital entrepreneurs, app creators, developers and agencies seeking streamlined tools to launch or test subscription services.

Cleeng Pro provides subscription management, identity and entitlement controls, analytics, customer support and optional Merchant of Record and payment orchestration services. It also includes no-code onboarding and best practice guides to help users set up and scale their services.

“Any entrepreneur, developer or business will tell you that, in 2025, speed is everything,” said Gilles Domartini, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cleeng. “The AI-powered digital economy waits for no one, and those who hesitate will lose both revenue and relevance. Cleeng Pro eliminates the waiting game and the best part is – it’s free to start. Creators taking their social media channel to the next level, agencies working with subscription apps, or businesses looking for rapid web monetization will find Cleeng Pro to be just what they need – not to only manage billing or any other one thing – but to run a digital subscription business.”

Enterprise companies can also use Cleeng Pro to quickly build proofs of concept without navigating lengthy procurement processes, the company said.

The platform is supported by a network of technology partners including JW Player, Applicaster, Videodock, UrbanZoo, Whitepeaks, Alpha Networks and Sportradar.

“Today, subscription service launches and iterations continue at a rapid pace,” said Paul Erickson, a Principle Analyst at Omdia. “Content owners and creators are leaning into maximizing the value of their content and exploring D2C streaming options. Additionally, established video services facing financial pressures and slowing subscription growth are investigating and testing new subscription and pricing options to drive the next phase of their growth.”

Cleeng Pro is available on the company’s website, where users can access platform documentation and demonstrations. After the first 10,000 subscribers, the service costs 39 cents per subscriber each month. A pre-integrated Merchant of Record option is offered as an add-on for quicker deployment.
