
The E.W. Scripps Company has appointed Keagan Harsha as General Manager and Senior Director of News at KTVQ (Channel 2), its CBS affiliate in Billings, Montana.
Harsha currently serves as statewide news director for the Montana Television Network (MTN), which includes Scripps-owned stations in Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Great Falls, Helena, Missoula and Kalispell. In his expanded role, he will continue to support news initiatives across the MTN stations.
His new role becomes effective November 3.
A Montana native, Harsha joined Scripps in 2021 as news director at KTVQ. Since then, he has helped lead the station’s coverage of statewide issues and strengthen its community-focused journalism.
Before returning to Montana, Harsha worked in Denver at Fox31 as an anchor and reporter, where his investigative reporting contributed to state law and major policy changes. He also previously served as an anchor at KTSM (Channel 9, NBC) in El Paso, Texas, and WCAX (Channel 3, CBS) in Burlington, Vermont.
Harsha earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Montana.
