Lifestyle streaming network Revry has appointed Steven Toomey to serve as the media company’s Head of Finance, a newly-created role that intends to strengthen the company’s financial operations as it explores various growth opportunities.

In his new position, Toomey will oversee financial planning and analysis, capital strategy, performance management and the financial systems required to support Revry’s growing content and distribution portfolio. The LGBTQ-plus-focused media company has expanded rapidly in recent years as it increases distribution across free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) platforms while investing in original programming.

Toomey joins Revry with more than two decades of experience in financial strategy, accounting leadership, and data-driven modeling across technology, media, and software companies. The company said the role is designed to enhance operating discipline, build scalable financial systems, and support Revry’s expanding global footprint across digital video platforms.

“We are thrilled to welcome Steven to the Revry family,” Damian Pelliccione, the co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Revry, said in a statement. “His extensive financial expertise and data-driven approach make him the ideal leader to strengthen our infrastructure and support our next phase of growth. As Revry continues to expand globally, Steven’s strategic vision will help ensure we scale with discipline, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to serving queer audiences everywhere.”

Over the past 13 years, he has worked primarily with venture-backed software-as-a-service (SaaS) and media startups, helping scale companies from Seed through Series E funding stages. His background includes building global finance teams, implementing forecasting and KPI frameworks, managing cash and capital planning, and leading both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Revry, Toomey founded a consulting firm for senior executives at early-stage and growth companies. Earlier in his career, he worked in equity research and credit analysis on Wall Street, with roles at Citigroup, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley. He also held a leadership role at vidIQ, a YouTube optimization and AI platform for creators, and has experience developing machine-learning models and coding in Python.

“Revry has built an incredible brand and community, and now it’s time to architect the financial foundation that will fuel its next stage,” Toomey said. “My career has been centered around helping companies scale, and I’m excited to help create the processes and data frameworks that will support its global growth and unlock new opportunities.”
