Bill O’Reilly is launching a new interview podcast built around one of the most recognizable — and widely circulated — moments from his television career.

The new program, titled “We’ll Do It LIVE!,” debuts Thursday, March 12 and will feature weekly sit-down interviews between O’Reilly and celebrities, entertainers and news makers. The show is produced by Red Seat Ventures, the digital content production studio acquired by Fox Corporation last year.

The title references an infamous outburst from O’Reilly’s tenure as anchor of the syndicated newsmagazine “Inside Edition.” During a production mishap on set, O’Reilly angrily shouted “We’ll do it LIVE!” while preparing to close the program without a taped segment. The clip later circulated widely online and has become one of the most-recognizable viral moments involving the longtime television commentator.

The new podcast represents O’Reilly’s latest effort to expand his media presence through digital platforms, particularly as audiences increasingly migrate toward podcasts and creator-driven video programming on platforms like YouTube.

“What we’re trying to do here is resurrect the legendary Mike Wallace’s first program. That was called ‘Night Beat,” O’Reilly told the website Variety. “It featured Wallace asking all kinds of unpredictable questions to famous people. The show is largely forgotten, but it was brilliant, and we would like to try to bring it back in a very entertaining way.”

New episodes of the show will be released Tuesdays on YouTube and through major podcast platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify. O’Reilly will also distribute the show through his website.

Red Seat Ventures has become a key player in the growing ecosystem of creator-led media operations tied to Fox. The studio produces digital programming for several high-profile commentators who previously worked at Fox News, including Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson. O’Reilly hosted a Fox News show called “The O’Reilly Factor” from October 1996 to April 2017; his show ended following allegations of sexual harassment.

In addition to his podcast, O’Reilly hosts a show on The First called “No Spin News” and is a regular guest on NewsNation’s prime-time show “Cuomo.”
