Stingray’s streaming audio platform TuneIn has reached a deal with automaker Stellantis that will see the app installed in a handful of vehicles moving forward, the companies announced on Thursday.
The integration will give Stellantis drivers access to TuneIn’s catalog of more than 100,000 radio stations, along with podcasts, breaking news, curated music and programming from local, national and global broadcasters.
The app will include in-vehicle controls that allow drivers to play, pause and change audio while on the road.
“Stellantis is an incredible partner that shares our vision for creating exceptional in-car experiences,” TuneIn CEO Rich Stern said in a statement. “Our teams have been working closely together to create an experience that feels like a natural extension of each vehicle while giving drivers seamless access to the world’s best live audio.”
The agreement is part of its broader strategy at Stingray to expand automotive access to TuneIn’s audio catalog. The company said the integration will strengthen its global automotive presence and support the rollout of branded in-vehicle audio experiences.
TuneIn is available around the world through more than 200 connected devices and 14 automotive brands.
