Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG) has promoted Amy DeGregorio to serve in the new role of Executive Vice President of Sales and Revenue, expanding her responsibilities to include advertising, sponsorships and business development across the company’s television and streaming portfolio.
The newly-created position gives DeGregorio oversight of revenue strategy across HMPG’s linear television programming, branded content, digital productions and emerging distribution platforms. She previously served as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Sales for the company’s educational and informational (E/I) programming, a position she held since 2022.
In her expanded role, DeGregorio will join HMPG’s executive leadership team and serve as a strategic advisor to President Bryan Curb on revenue growth, commercialization and new business opportunities. She will also oversee sales and sponsorship activities across the company’s programming operations, extending the responsibilities she previously held for E/I content.
“Amy has done an exceptional job building meaningful brand partnerships and seamlessly integrating sponsors into our E/I programming,” Curb said in a statement sent by e-mail on Thursday. “As HMPG continues to expand, we want to bring that same expertise and strategic approach to our entire portfolio, creating new opportunities for brands to engage with our award-winning content and loyal audiences.”
DeGregorio has worked with national advertisers, organizations and foundations to develop sponsorships and other commercial partnerships for HMPG. Her promotion broadens those efforts to include the company’s growing streaming and digital operations, alongside its established relationships with broadcast television networks and station groups.
DeGregorio joined Litton Entertainment, HMPG’s predecessor, in 2016 as Senior Director of Integrated Marketing. She was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Integrated Marketing and became Senior Vice President of Client Solutions in 2020. Litton was rebranded as Hearst Media Production Group in 2022, when DeGregorio assumed responsibility for E/I sales.
Before joining Litton, DeGregorio served as Director of Strategic and Integrated Marketing at CBS Television Stations. Her earlier career included positions at NBCUniversal, TruTV and ABC following her start in music marketing and promotion at MTV Networks. She holds a bachelor’s degree in media studies from New York University.
HMPG, a business unit of Hearst Television, produces more than 30 original series and hundreds of hours of programming annually. Its content library includes approximately 6,000 episodes across 85 series, with distribution extending to 100 countries. The company’s weekend E/I programming includes “Weekend Adventure” on ABC stations, “CBS WKND” on CBS, “The More You Know” on NBC, “One Magnificent Morning” on the CW Network, “Mi Telemundo” on Telemundo and “Go Time” on independent stations.
