C-SPAN will offer more than 20 hours of continuous election coverage on November 3, combining live results, candidate speeches and reports from across the country with election-night programming from two politically oriented YouTube channels.

The commercial-free coverage will begin at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, November 3, and continue into Wednesday, with a focus on congressional and gubernatorial elections that will determine control of Congress and several state governments.

C-SPAN said its flagship television channel will provide election results and nonpartisan analysis without the political commentary typically featured on other cable news networks.

The coverage will include live reports from more than 30 locations nationwide, drawing on C-SPAN’s own cameras and resources provided by Spectrum News.

The network will also carry victory and concession speeches from candidates in competitive Senate, House and gubernatorial races, along with updates from campaign headquarters and election-night gatherings.

C-SPAN hosts Greta Brawner, Pedro Echevarria, Mimi Geerges and Peter Slen will anchor the coverage.

Jacob Rubashkin, Deputy Editor of Inside Elections, and C-SPAN congressional expert John McArdle will provide analysis of election returns, including developments affecting control of the House and Senate.

Additional commentary will come from political journalists Kirk Bado, Nicholas Anastácio, Erika Filter and Abby Turner of National Journal’s Hotline, along with Erin Covey and Jessica Taylor of The Cook Political Report.

The network will also incorporate reporting from its “Road to the Capitol: Candidate Coverage from the Trail” initiative, which has placed multimedia journalists in competitive election markets throughout the 2026 campaign.

The project, supported by national philanthropic foundations, has followed congressional and statewide candidates in battleground regions. Those journalists will provide reports as the races conclude.

C-SPAN will supplement its traditional election coverage with two politically oriented livestreams carried on its secondary television channels.

C-SPAN2 will simulcast election-night coverage from “The Young Turks,” featuring progressive commentators Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola.

C-SPAN3 will carry a separate livestream hosted by conservative commentator Patrick Bet-David, the host of the “PBD Podcast” and founder of the Valuetainment Streaming Network.

The simulcasts will allow C-SPAN to offer commentary from different political perspectives while maintaining its nonpartisan format on the flagship channel.

Election results will also be available through C-SPAN’s Democracy Dashboard, which will provide live returns and race-by-race updates as votes are counted.
