C-SPAN
C-SPAN is a non-commercial political affairs network that operates three linear cable networks, a radio station and an online platform.
The flagship C-SPAN channel offers live coverage of the U.S. House of Representatives, while C-SPAN 2 covers the U.S. Senate. Both networks and a spillover channel, C-SPAN 3, also broadcast Congressional hearings, special political events and public interest programming, including “Washington Journal” and “Book TV.”
C-SPAN Radio includes audio simulcasts of programming from all three networks and Sunday morning political affairs shows from ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News and CNN.
The network receives funding from the cable and satellite television industry in exchange for carriage on pay TV platforms.
