Sinclair has promoted Jennifer Lopez to serve as the Vice President and General Managerr of its station cluster in Boise, Idaho, bringing the longtime company executive back to a market where she previously worked for nearly a decade.
Lopez will oversee KBOI (Channel 2, CBS), KYUU-LD (Channel 35, CW) and KNIN (Channel 9, Fox) in Boise, with responsibility for station operations, advertising sales, business strategy and community relations. The appointment takes effect immediately.
She most recently served as general sales manager of KOMO (Channel 4, ABC) and KUNS (Channel 51, CW) in Seattle, a position she held since 2023.

Lopez joined Sinclair in 2011 as an account executive at KXRM (Channel 21, Fox) in Colorado Springs. She transferred to KBOI and KYUU-LD in Boise three years later, initially serving as a senior account executive before becoming digital sales manager in 2017.
“Boise has always been a special place for me, both personally and professionally, and I’m excited to return in this new role,” Lopez said in a statement.
Rob Weisbord, Sinclair’s Chief Operating Officer and President of Local Media, cited Lopez’s previous experience in Boise and her management of advertising sales operations in Seattle as factors in the promotion.
“Jennifer is a proven leader with a strong track record of driving results, building relationships and developing successful teams,” Weisbord said in a statement. “Her deep understanding of the Boise market, combined with her experience leading the stations in Seattle, makes her exceptionally well-suited for this role. Jennifer knows these stations, understands the community, and brings leadership and vision to build on their success. We are excited to welcome her back to Boise.”
