Nuvyyo is releasing a firmware fix for its line of Tablo over-the-air digital video recorders (DVRs) after receiving reports of a bug that cause some devices to display the wrong time on the hardware’s program guide.
The glitch occurred after the recent time change caused by Daylight Saving Time in the United States and Canada.
Nuvyyo was able to fix the problem on the Tablo web app last week, but the problem persists on Tablo’s iOS, Android, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, XBox and Windows 10 apps, the company said.
Starting on Monday, Nuvyyo began rolling out a firmware fix to squash the Daylight Saving Time bug once and for all. The firmware is being released in phases, Nuvyyo said, and most if not all Tablo devices should be updated by the end of the week.
Nuvyyo said the bug merely affected how the time was displayed on Tablo’s live program guide and did not affect the listings themselves (which were current and correct, despite the wrong time being shown), nor did it affect scheduled recordings.

Correction: An earlier version of this story said Tablo patched the Daylight Saving Time bug for Roku users. A Tablo spokesperson later confirmed Roku users were not affected by the glitch.
