SiriusXM debuts Disney Hits channel

Satellite radio service SiriusXM has launched a new channel dedicated to hit songs from Disney films, television shows, musicals and theme park attractions.

The new Disney Hits channel launched on SiriusXM’s satellite and streaming radio services Thusrday at noon Eastern Time, according to a release from the company.

SiriusXM says the channel will feature hit songs from the soundtracks of “The Lion King,” “Toy Story,” “Moana,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “High School Musical,” among other Disney titles.

The channel will also feature guest appearances from stars associated with Disney’s movies and TV shows as well as artists signed to Disney’s Hollywood Records label.

The Disney Hits channel is available on most SiriusXM radios that can receive channels within the 300, 400 and 700 range as well as on SiriusXM’s streaming apps for iOS and Android phones and tablets. SiriusXM’s streaming service is also available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV platforms.
