Fox News Media says its streaming channel Fox Weather is now available to subscribers of the pay streaming television service Vidgo.

The addition comes as Fox Weather continues an aggressive expansion strategy that has seen the streaming channel land on a number of platforms as well as traditional broadcast stations.

“Our subscribers want to stay informed, which is why the addition of the Fox Weather is a top priority for the Vidgo team,” Scott Aiken, the company’s chief marketing officer, said in a statement. “Now, [subscribers] can check the weather 24-7, both locally and across the country.”

The addition of Fox Weather helps round out Vidgo’s offering of Fox television content. The service also carries the Fox News Channel, Fox Business, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2 and some local Fox stations.

Along with carriage on Vidgo, Fox Weather is available as a live stream on the Roku Channel, Comcast’s Xumo and on Google-owned pay service YouTube TV. Fox Weather is also simulcast on Fox owned-and-operated stations at various points in the day, as well as on the Fox Business Network during weekend mornings.

Vidgo starts at $60 a month, though the company often discounts the price for new customers. The service is available on Apple TV, Android TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices as well as Apple and Android phones and tablets.

Some Fox owned-and-operated stations have added Fox Weather as a digital sub-channel, making the weather-focused streaming network available to view over-the-air. In San Francisco, Fox Weather is carried on the third digital sub-channel of Fox-owned KICU-TV (Channel 36).
