Apple’s coverage of Friday Night Baseball on the Apple TV Plus app will be produced by Major League Baseball’s television network, the company affirmed this week.

In a press release, Apple said its coverage of Friday Night Baseball will include play-by-play talent, analysts and reporters from the MLB Network, including Melanie Newman, Chris Young, Hanna Keyser and Brooke Fletcher.

The team will help Apple TV Plus cover a matchup between the New York Mets and the Washington Nationals, which will be the inaugural Friday Night Baseball event on Friday, April 8.

Apple says streamers can watch select Friday Night Baseball games through the Apple TV Plus app without a subscription. The games are available to stream for viewers in the United Staets, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Korea and the United Kingdom.

The Apple TV Plus app is available on Apple TV hardware, on iPhones, iPads and Macintosh computers. Versions of the Apple TV App are also available for Android TV (Google TV), Roku and Comcast’s X1 platform. Windows and Android phone and tablet users can access Apple TV Plus through Apple’s website.

A subscription to Apple TV Plus costs $5 a month or $50 a year, though new customers who purchase select Apple hardware can three months of the service for free.
