ABC Fall Schedule: Game shows returning to Sunday nights

ABC will debut a new prime-time game show this fall, while returning another celebrity-studded game show to its lineup.

The Walt Disney Company-owned network said weekly editions of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” and “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” will air on Sundays, pared with a new season of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and “The Rookie.”

“Match Game,” a revived version of the 1970s-era game show hosted by Alec Baldwin, was canceled last month. The network’s other prime-time game show, “To Tell the Truth,” has been renewed for an additional season but did not appear on the fall schedule unveiled by ABC this week.

The full ABC fall lineup follows below (all times Eastern and Pacific):

  • 7:00 PM: America’s Funniest Home Videos
  • 8:00 PM: Celebrity Jeopardy! [NEW]
  • 9:00 PM: Celebrity Wheel of Fortune
  • 10:00 PM: The Rookie
  • 11:00 PM: (Local programming)

Monday

  • 8:00 PM: Bachelor in Paradise (2 hours)
  • 10:00 PM: The Good Doctor
  • 11:00 PM: (Local programming)
  • (Some local markets to receive select ESPN Monday Night Football games)

Tuesday

  • 8:00 PM: Bachelor in Paradise (2 hours)
  • 10:00 PM: The Rookie: Feds [NEW]
  • 11:00 PM : (Local programming)

Wednesday

  • 8:00 PM: The Conners
  • 8:30 PM: The Goldbergs
  • 9:00 PM: Abbott Elementary
  • 9:30 PM: Home Economics
  • 10:00 PM: Big Sky
  • 11:00 PM: (Local programming)

Thursday

  • 8:00 PM: Station 19
  • 9:00 PM: Grey’s Anatomy

Many ABC dramas, sitcoms and news programming will stream on Disney-owned Hulu one day after they air on the network.
