T-Mobile has renewed its partnership with Major League Baseball that allows it to offer customers one of their favorite annual perks.

The deal will see T-Mobile offer its wireless phone customers a free subscription to MLB.TV, a streaming service that allows baseball fans to watch out-of-market games live and on-demand.

The service normally costs $140 per year, but T-Mobile customers have long been allowed to get a free subscription to the service within a limited window around the start of baseball season. Spring training is currently under way, and the start of the MLB’s pro season is slated for March 30.

Eligible customers of T-Mobile, Sprint and Metro by T-Mobile who have qualifying wireless plans will be able to sign up for the free MLB.TV subscription through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app, starting Tuesday, March 28. Customers must save the offer in the T-Mobile Tuesdays app and activate their subscription by April 4.

MLB.TV is subject to a blackout policy that will make some out-of-market games unavailable to streamers when they are in-progress, but all games are available to stream on-demand after they conclude. Games offered exclusively through ESPN and Apple TV Plus aren’t available to stream live on MLB.TV, since those broadcasters have national carriage rights.

Password sharers, beware: The fine print on T-Mobile’s offer says the free MLB.TV subscription can only be used on T-Mobile devices (though it will work with smart TVs and Wi-Fi connected tablets just fine). T-Mobile doesn’t allow account sharing with customers who use AT&T or Verizon phones; over the last few years, T-Mobile customers have accused the wireless company of canceling their free subscription when they share login credentials with people who use MLB.TV on AT&T and Verizon phones.
