Dish Network’s free, ad-supported service Sling Freestream has added nine new linear content channels, the company announced on Thursday.

The new channels help bring the total number of linear content streams available on Sling Freestream to over 265. The service also offers more than 41,000 television shows, movies and documentaries that are free to access through Sling Freestream without a subscription or credit card on file.

The new channels added to Sling Freestream on Thursday include:

  • 21 Jump Street
  • America’s Dumbest Criminals
  • Crime & Justice
  • FilmRise: Anime
  • FilmRise: Classic TV
  • FilmRise: Free Movies
  • Hipstr
  • Property & Reno
  • Real Disaster Channel

The channels join an ever-growing lineup of free linear streams available through Sling Freestream, which includes live news (ABC News Live, CBS News, Al Jazeera, Euronews), general entertainment (AMC Thrillers, Pluto TV Comedy Central, Buzzr), movies (Gravitas Movies, FilmRise) and sports-related programming (SportsGrid, Barstool Sports).

Sling Freestream is available within the Sling TV app, but doesn’t require an active subscription to the pay television service to view. The service is supported on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (Google TV), Roku, AirTV, XBox, LG WebOS, Samsung Tizen, Vizio SmartCast, Comcast’s X1 and Flex boxes and TiVo; the company says it continues to roll out support for more devices.

Customers who want access to live cable television channels like ESPN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CNN, FX, Discovery Channel and Paramount Network can sign up for a Sling TV subscription without losing access to Sling Freestream. Sling TV starts at $40 a month for the Sling Orange (includes ESPN) or Sling Blue (includes FX and Fox News Channel), though streamers who sign up at this link can get their first month of service for just $20.
