Allen Media Group will continue offering national CBS programming on a handful of its local TV stations as part of a renewed affiliation agreement with Paramount Global, the company announced this week.

The agreement keeps CBS programming on five Allen Media-owned television stations, including:

  • KHSL (Channel 12) in Redding, California
  • KIMT (Channel 3) in Mason City, Iowa
  • WEVV (Channel 44) in Evansville, Indiana
  • WLFI (Channel 18) in West Lafayette, Indiana
  • WTHI (Channel 10) in Terre Haute, Indiana

“We are delighted to continue our relationship with CBS network,” Byron Allen, the founder, Chairman and CEO of Allen Media Group, said in a statement. “CBS has been an outstanding partner to our five affiliate stations by delivering phenomenal programming across all genres — including entertainment, news, and highly-coveted sports — to our viewers. We look forward to extending our partnership with CBS.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, though local TV broadcasters typically pay networks like CBS a nominal fee for the rights to air their general entertainment, national news and sports programming.

The renewal comes ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, the National Football League (NFL) championship game that will air on CBS-owned and affiliated television stations in mid-February. CBS Sports also broadcasts the PGA Tour, select matches from the UEFA Champions League and shares rights to the NCAA March Madness college basketball tournament with Warner Bros Discovery’s TNT Sports.

Live sports carried on CBS also streams on Paramount Plus with Showtime, which offers online access to live CBS affiliates, including those owned by Allen Media.
