American film studio Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) has renewed its long-time content distribution deal with French media company Canal Plus Group (Groupe Canal Plus).

The multi-year deal allows Canal to continue offering subscribers access to Warner Bros films around six months after they are introduced in movie theaters in France.

Some titles that are currently offered or will soon be available through Canal services include “Barbie,” “Wonka,” “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” “Blue Beetle,” “The Color Purple” and “The Flash.”

The move comes about a year after discussions between WBD and Canal broke down over the continued carriage of the linear Warner TV channel on Canal’s cable TV systems in France.
