Sky Showtime offers TV shows and movies from the content libraries of Comcast’s NBC Universal and Paramount Global, which includes productions from Dreamworks Animation, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, CBS, NBC, Universal Pictures, Comedy Central, MTV Studios and more.
The service is primarily available in European countries where Comcast and Paramount have little to no television business. In areas where both brands operate linear channels or pay TV platforms like Sky Satellite, versions of Peacock and Paramount Plus are generally available.
Sky Showtime officially launched in September 2022, making its debut in the Nordic region before spreading to nearly two dozen other territories.
At launch, Sky Showtime offered European television viewers access to thousands of hours of movies and TV series, including “Yellowstone,” “Dexter,” “The Office,” “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” “Halo,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Ambulance” and “Jurassic World: Dominion.”
Later this year, Sky Showtime will offer blockbuster films like “Mission Impossible,” “Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” “Oppenheimer” and “Mission: Impossible, Dead Reckoning.”
