After introducing customers to a soft data cap earlier this month, wireless phone provider T-Mobile has introduced an ultra-premium version of its 5G Home Internet service.
The plan, called T-Mobile Home Internet Plus, includes all the perks as T-Mobile’s basic Home Internet plan, including a price lock guarantee, a free wireless modem-router gateway and unlimited monthly data (that might be slowed if customers use more than 1.2 terabytes of data in a billing cycle), along with the ability to try the service without a commitment.
Where T-Mobile Home Internet Plus sets its apart from the base plan is the inclusion of a mesh wireless access point and Assurant Personal TechPro support for wireless devices in a customer’s home.
T-Mobile Home Internet Plus costs $70 per month with enrollment in AutoPay, though the price drops to $50 per month with an eligible premium voice plan.
T-Mobile is also introducing a plan called T-Mobile Home Internet Away that allows customers in RVs and other frequent travelers to stay connected to the company’s 5G wireless network at a cost of $160 per month with AutoPay enrollment.
Away offers the same perks as T-Mobile Home Internet, with the promise that customers will “stay connected” when they are in motion. Around 50 devices can be connected to T-Mobile Home Internet Away at any given point, and the service offers unlimited data transfer.
Customers who don’t want to spend $160 per month for T-Mobile Home Internet Away can pay $120 per month for a plan that includes 200 Gigabytes of high-speed data.

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story said T-Mobile Home Internet Pro included 4K video streaming, setting it apart from the base T-Mobile Home Internet. Both the base and pro plans include video streaming up to 4K.
