Former Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) executive Priya Dogra is joining Comcast’s Sky Group as its new Chief Advertising & New Revenue Officer, starting next month.

Dogra left WBD last year after 14 years with the company. She served as the long-time president of WBD’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business, and joined WBD to oversee mergers and acquisitions.

At Sky Group, Dogra will be responsible for developing and enhancing non-subscription revenue models for the company, which operates pay television platforms via satellite and streaming video.

In addition to its pay TV service, Sky also operates a number of subscription and non-subscription channels, including Sky Showcase (formerly Sky One), Sky Max, Sky Atlantic, Sky Sports and Sky News, the latter of which is available in more than 200 countries via a free web stream.

“I‘m thrilled to be joining the team at Sky with whom I’ve had the pleasure of partnering over the years,” Dogra said in a statement. “Sky has been at the forefront of delivering best in class consumer experiences in entertainment and connectivity, and I’m delighted to be part of driving future innovation. I look forward to collaborating with our many partners on delivering innovative brand solutions and driving monetization across linear and digital video.”

“Priya brings a wealth of operational and strategic experience in the media industry, and her proven track record of success, partnered with our history of innovation will be integral to driving growth areas for Sky, as we continue to connect our customers to more of what they love,” Chief Business Officer Nick Herm said.

WBD did not fill Dogra’s role when she left last August. Instead, the role was absorbed into the duties of WBD International President Gerhard Zeiler.

“I want to take this moment to give my sincere thanks to Priya for her exceptional and unwavering leadership, professionalism and dedication which has driven the success of our incredible network and streaming brands, TV series, films, and games, delivering growth in a complex and continuously changing region,” Zeiler said in a statement after announcing Dogra’s departure from the company.
