Charter Communications says it has forged a partnership with EverPass Media that will allow its Spectrum Business enterprise customers to access live sports that are typically only available on streaming platforms.
The arrangement will unlock access to sports packages like NFL Sunday Ticket — which is offered to residential customers through YouTube and YouTube TV — and Peacock Sports Pass, which gives commercial establishments the ability to screen Peacock’s exclusive National Football League (NFL) games during the regular season and playoffs as well as Premier League, Big 10 football and forthcoming National Basketball Association (NBA) games.
Spectrum Business will also be offering Thursday Night Football games that are typically only available through Amazon’s Prime Video platform, the company affirmed.
The Thursday Night Football games will be available to Spectrum Business TV customers who subscribe to the Spectrum Business Sports Fan TV package, which offers nearly four dozen local and national sports-inclusive channels. The cost of the package is $80 per month when purchased on its own, or $60 per month when bundled with another product like Spectrum Business Internet. Spectrum said the per-month pricing was available to new customers and locked in for at least 12 months.
Spectrum Business customers will also be able to purchase NFL Sunday Ticket and Peacock Sports Pass separately. The cost of both packages was not immediately available.
“We know how important it is for small business customers to have access to a broad portfolio of sports content, so their patrons can watch all their favorite live events,” said Tom Montemagno, the Executive Vice President of Programming Acquisition for Charter. “The combination of NFL Sunday Ticket and Peacock Sports Pass via EverPass and our new Sports Fan TV tier means we can offer businesses a sports solution that includes almost all NFL games, college football, and professional basketball, hockey, baseball, soccer and more.”
“We are thrilled to partner with Spectrum Business as our first official channel partner,” said EverPass CEO Alex Kaplan. “EverPass was founded with the goal of innovating the out-of-home sports and entertainment viewing experience, while also empowering business owners to have complete control of the content their customers desire. This strategic relationship allows us to tap into Spectrum Business’ extensive network and expand access to NFL Sunday Ticket and Peacock Sports Pass for commercial establishments, further positioning EverPass as the preeminent live sports and entertainment content platform for businesses across the U.S.”
Spectrum offers its television and Internet services across 41 states. New and current Spectrum Business customers can learn more about the company’s live sports offerings by visiting the Spectrum website.
