The Week 4 match-up between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants drew more than 16.2 million viewers to Amazon’s Prime Video on Thursday, according to Nielsen data.

The game was the most-watched regular season “Thursday Night Football” game streamed by Amazon’s Prime Video and Twitch, with Amazon claiming it was also the most-streamed National Football League (NFL) game ever. The game also aired on local TV stations in Dallas and New York City, the home markets of the two teams playing.

The match-up peaked with 18.1 million viewers during the second quarter, according to preliminary Nielsen data. Finalized data, which includes out-of-home viewing, is expected to be released on Monday.

Thursday Night Football has averaged around 14.9 million viewers during the first four weeks of the season, an increase of 25 percent compared to the same time period last year.
