Comcast and Charter Communications’ joint venture Xumo has inked a retail partnership with Target that will see its Hisense-manufactured smart TVs land at retail stores and the Target website this week, the companies announced on Monday.

The Xumo-powered Hisense smart TVs are sold in 55-inch and 65-inch models at stores across the country and via the Target website. The 55-inch Hisense model starts retails for $250, while the 65-inch goes for $360.

“The growing fragmentation of content on streaming services can make content discovery difficult – the Xumo TV makes streaming easy,” Stephanie Cassi, the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Xumo, said in a statement. “Extending our reach with Hisense, a top global TV manufacturer, and Target, a premier retail destination and one of the country’s most-trafficked e-commerce sites, is a major win.”

Target is the latest retailer to begin selling Xumo smart TVs since the devices first became available to the public nearly two years ago. Xumo also offers its smart TVs through sales partnerships with Best Buy, Walmart, Meijer and BJ’s Wholesale; when including Target, Xumo-powered smart TVs are now available at more than 8,000 retail stores across the country.

“Launching Hisense Xumo TVs in Target marks an exciting chapter for Hisense USA, as we bring advanced, wallet-friendly technology to more households across the nation,” said Craig Gunther, the Head of TV Product Marketing at Hisense USA. “This collaboration between us, Xumo and Target not only expands our reach but also reaffirms our commitment to delivering exceptional value and an enhanced viewing experience for all consumers.”

Xumo-powered TVs from Hisense come with a voice-powered remote control that allows streamers to search for movies and TV shows across supported apps, including popular choices like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus, Peacock and Paramount Plus. The TVs also support access to YouTube, Sling TV, YouTube TV, Xumo Play, Pluto TV and Tubi, among others.

The TVs support High Dynamic Range 10 (HDR 10), Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos pass-through — features that are typically found in more-expensive smart TVs on the market.
