Fox News Media says its prime-time commentator Sean Hannity will launch a long-form interview series on the streaming platform Fox Nation.
The show, called “Sean,” promises to feature conversations with leading figures in the worlds of sports, entertainment and politics.
The first episode debuts on Fox Nation this week, with a conversation between Hannity, actor Sylvester Stallone and model Jennifer Flavin Stallone. Forthcoming episodes will include conversations with ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith and celebrity fitness trainer Jillian Michaels.
“Throughout the course of my career, I’ve had the honor of meeting the world’s most interesting people,” Hannity said in a statement. “It is often the struggles and obstacles they have overcome that makes them most captivating. I look forward to sharing these conversations with Fox Nation viewers.”
Hannity is best known as the host of his own prime-time show, called “Hannity,” which is the longest-running cable news program in America. The show is one of the highest-rated on prime-time cable news, regularly pulling in higher viewership than comparable programming on CNN, MSNBC and NewsNation.
During his time at the Fox News Channel, Hannity has interviewed leading figures like California Governor Gavin Newsom, actor and director Sean Penn, President Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, then-President George W. Bush, then-Vice President Dick Cheney, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Kim Kardashian, Mel Gibson, Michael Moore, Michael Phelps, Richard Petty, Charlie Daniels, Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts, the network said.
Fox Nation is an extension of the Fox News brand, offering viewers of the cable news channel additional programming that caters to their interests. Over the past few years, Fox Nation has launched programs in partnership with actors Kevin Costner and Kelsey Grammer and produced its own live news events.
