If you want the biggest and best smart TV that LG Electronics will offer this year, be prepared to pay for the privilege.

This week, LG Electronics unveiled its latest C5 and G5-model OLED smart TVs, with screen sizes ranging from a modest 42 inches to a whopping 97 inches.

The C5 and G5 OLED TVs will be available later this month, priced between $1,400 for the 42-inch C5 Series model all the way up to $25,000 for the 97-inch G5 Series model.

LG is also shipping C5 and G5 Series TVs that come in 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch and 83-inch models, as well as a smaller 48-inch model of its C5 Series TV.

The LG G5 OLED TV is its top-of-the-line offering, with a starting price of $2,500 for its 55-inch set that includes a second-generation Alpha 11 AI Processor and promises of a 45 percent brighter screen. The lower-priced C5 model starts at $1,400 and includes an eight-generation Alpha 9 AI processor.

Both TV models include support for LG’s next-generation WebOS 25 platform, which includes access to third-party streaming apps like Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN Plus, YouTube and Prime Video, along with free streaming content from LG Channels. And they both support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and have “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Color” certifications.

Those who purchase a newer-model LG TV from the LG web store can save $200 on select LG soundbars to complement their home theater and gaming setup. Other LG TVs are discounted up to 40 percent off.
