Apple is hoping to win back some former users of its streaming service by dangling a deep discount to Apple TV Plus over the next few months.

Starting this week, new and lapsed Apple TV Plus (stylized as Apple TV+) subscribers can return for just $3 per month for three months, a 70 percent discount from the normal cost of $10 per month.

Apple TV Plus includes hit series like “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “Silo” and “Shrinking,” along with exclusive movies like “Tetris,” “Wolfs” and “Greyhound.” The service also streams Friday Night Baseball games from Major League Baseball, and a handful of Major League Soccer games are included. Subscribers can add MLS Season Pass for additional soccer games at a separate cost.

Long kept within its own ecosystem, Apple has sought to draw in subscribers across different platforms by making Apple TV Plus available beyond iPhones, iPads and Apple TVs. These days, customers can purchase a subscription to Apple TV Plus and watch through the Apple TV app for Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (Google TV) and most modern Samsung, LG and Vizio TVs.

Apple TV Plus is also available for $10 per month through Amazon’s Prime Video Channels marketplace, which makes the film and TV show catalog from Apple TV Plus available on devices that support Prime Video, but not the Apple TV app itself.
