Charter Communications has picked VCCP to handle creative campaigns and Horizon Media as its media agency of record, both for its telecommunications brand Spectrum, the company announced on Tuesday.

VCCP and Horizon Media will collaborate to deliver an integrated, customer-centric storytelling and media approach that will bring a singular voice to multiple audiences, across all channels and customer touchpoints. The partnerships come at a time when Spectrum is leaning into its “Life Unlimited” brand vision, which includes customer service and pricing commitments across its portfolio of broadband Internet, pay television and phone products, among others.

“Connectivity is more important than ever, and we are entering a new chapter by unifying our messaging to resonate with many audiences in new and inspiring ways, across all media platforms,” said Sharon Peters, the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Spectrum. “VCCP’s experience and unique creative approach will elevate our ability to communicate our transformative vision for the future and bring to life the full breadth of our broadband, wireless and entertainment offerings. Horizon Media’s strategic media expertise will help us amplify our broader mission to provide seamless and high-quality experiences for customers and communities across America.”

Charter said VCCP and Horizon Media will help the company “focus on delivering cohesive messaging across all platforms and customer segments and spotlighting how its seamless connectivity and entertainment products improve the lives of its customers,” to include its efforts in delivering best-in-class entertainment and connectivity to residential and business subscribers.

VCCP will assist in create and delivering various brand and campaign messaging, while Horizon Media will lead the media planning and buying efforts on behalf of Spectrum, the company affirmed.

“Spectrum has an incredibly inspiring vision for the future of connectivity,” said Brett Edgar, the U.S.-based CEO of VCCP. “They bring a much-needed philosophy and approach that puts customers first and delivers unparalleled value across all their lines of business. We are thrilled to be partnering with them during this pivotal moment for their industry. We can’t wait to help Spectrum tell their story in ways that foster deep customer engagement and loyalty.”

“With its industry-leading customer commitment and broadband, wireless and video products, Spectrum is creating a new vision of what a connectivity company means to its customers,” said Bill Koenigsberg, the Founder and CEO of Horizon Media. “We are excited for this partnership which unleashes our technology and data platform Blu., as well as our vast media expertise and insights, to drive Spectrum’s strategic goals and connect with its customers across all channels in this rapidly evolving media landscape.”
