The Savannah Bananas are headed to broadcast network television for the first time ever.
Later this month, the Savannah Bananas will have their network TV debut during a game against the Texas Tailgaters in front of a sold-out crowd in Philadelphia.
The game will air on the CW Network between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday, July 27.
“The Savannah Bananas have taken the sports world by storm through their high-energy blend of baseball and entertainment that connects with viewers of all ages,” said Mike Perman, the Senior Vice President of the CW Sports. “We are thrilled to partner with them for their broadcast television debut, and we cannot wait to bring our audience every unpredictable play in front of what promises to be an electric atmosphere in Philadelphia.”

With the speed and entertainment of Banana Ball, we look forward to creating new fans together in the years to come.”
The Savannah Bananas have been recognized around the world for their unique style of baseball, called “Banana Ball,” a type of sports entertainment.

The team are a social media sensation, with nearly 10 million followers on TikTok, outnumbering every club in Major League Baseball and every team in the NFL, NBA and NHL on that platform to date.
The Bananas have also been featured on CNN, Sports Illustrated and recently earned their own profile on the news magazine show “60 Minutes.”
The CW Network is the latest TV partner for the Savannah Bananas, whose games have also aired on TNT Sports and ESPN over the past few years.
All games stream for free on YouTube.
The CW is majority-owned by Nexstar Media Group, with Paramount Global and Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) holding minority stakes in the network.
