Two channels owned by Herring Networks have made their way to YouTube TV a bit earlier than expected.

The channels — One America News Network (OAN) and A Wealth of Entertainment (AWE) — were originally scheduled to debut on YouTube TV in November, but their launch dates were moved up to Friday morning.

The launch was confirmed in an email to The Desk by Charles Herring, the President of Herring Networks.

The agreement with Herring Networks was announced while YouTube TV was working through a new distribution deal with Fox Corporation for continued carriage of its channels, including Fox News, Fox Business Network and Fox Sports 1 (FS1). A new agreement covering the ongoing distribution of Fox-owned channels was reached Thursday evening.

“Our goal has always been to provide our subscribers with a wide range of content, which is why we’re excited to bring One America News to YouTube TV,” Justin Connolly, the Vice President and Global Head of Media at YouTube, said on Wednesday. “This partnership gives One America News access to our growing audience, while also giving our subscribers even more choice when it comes to news and entertainment.”

OAN is one of two channels that pay TV distributors have leaned on to offer right-of-center news programming during disputes with Fox. The other, Newsmax, was added to YouTube TV last October.

The addition of OAN and AWE put both channels in front of nearly 9 million subscribers who pay for YouTube TV as a streaming alternative to traditional cable and satellite TV services.

OAN offers straightforward news coverage during much of their broadcast day. Three political commentary programs — “Real America with Dan Ball,” “The Matt Gaetz Show” and “Fine Point with Chanel Rion” — air weekdays in prime-time.

AWE airs reality-based programming that caters to wealthy lifestyles. Shows on AWE include “Behind the Gates,” “Boys Toys,” “Private Islands” and “Selling Mega Mansions.”

OAN and AWE broadcast from studios and transmission facilities in San Diego.
