Radial Entertainment has named four new top executives as the media company behind FilmRise and Shout Studios further scales its content production and licensing businesses.

The appointments, announced by Chief Executive Officer Garson Foos, bring together executives from both labels in marketing, acquisitions, operations and technical services.

Melissa Boag has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer and will oversee brand development, advertising, digital strategy, publicity, partnerships, and events. Boag previously served as Executive Vice President at Shout Studios, where she helped secure partnerships with Aardman Animations, Cartoon Saloon, GKIDS, Studio Ghibli, Laika, Hasbro, and The Jim Henson Company.

Minh Vo has been named General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Business Affairs. She will lead governance, compliance, and intellectual property matters across Radial. Vo was formerly General Counsel at FilmRise, where she expanded rights for the long-running series Forensic Files and Unsolved Mysteries. She also supported development of the documentary The State of Texas v. Melissa and earlier worked on Konami’s Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions.

Brian Blum will serve as Executive Vice President of Operations, with responsibility for unifying content operations across Radial’s catalogue and distribution channels. At Shout, he built the studio’s video production and delivery systems and oversaw digital operations.

Thibault Hermenault has been appointed Executive Vice President of Technical Services. He previously worked as CTO at FilmRise, where he managed infrastructure and security initiatives. At Radial, he will direct content onboarding, quality control, and IT systems integration.

“Together, we are poised to guide Radial and its brands into a dynamic future as the leading independent entertainment distributor,” Foos said Tuesday.

Other senior executives named include:

  • Bill Alexander, Senior Vice President of Finance
  • Jordan Fields, Senior Vice President of Content Acquisitions
  • Lexie Heredia, Senior Vice President of Content Investments
  • Jonitha Keymoore, Senior Vice President of Content Acquisitions
  • C.J. Laychak, Executive Vice President of Strategic Operations
  • Jeff Peisch, Senior Vice President of Programming & New Business Development
  • Jack Samec, Head of Corporate Development

Two longtime executives are leaving as part of the transition: Adam Ainley and Gene Pao, both from the Shout Factory side of the business. Ainley worked as the Chief Administrative Officer, while Pao was the Executive Vice President of Strategy & Digital.

FilmRise and Shout Factory announced the merging of their businesses last month, leading to the formation of Radial Entertainment.
