Gray Media has appointed a long-time sales executive at its Evansville, Indiana television station to lead the outlet as its newest general manager.

Jamie Bremer has worked at WFIE (Channel 14, NBC) for more than a decade, serving first as a media sales rep before ultimately being promoted to director of sales in 2023. Gray has owned WFIE since acquiring Raycom Broadcasting in 2018, and the station is co-owned with WEVV (Channel 44, CBS & Fox), which Gray purchased from former Allen Media Group earlier this month.

“She is known as a driving force behind new local direct and digital revenue for the station, bringing a strong focus on strategic partnerships, market development, and client success,” a Gray Media spokesperson said in a statement.

Bremer is also “recognized for her passion for building authentic relationships and fostering long-term connections within both the business community and the station team,” Gray Media noted, adding that she works as the President of the Board at the local non-profit Tristate Senior Wishes and coaches several soccer teams.

Bremer started her career at the E. W. Scripps Company, working as an acquisition sales and marketing specialist for about a year before moving to Atlas Van Lines in a sales position. That job lasted a little under two years before WFIE came calling with a sales position, and she has worked for the station ever since.
