Amazon has rolled out a new streaming bundle that pairs five subscription video on-demand (SVOD) services together at a discounted price point of just $30 per month.
The five services — Starz, AMC Plus, Britbox, PBS Masterpiece and Amazon-owned MGM Plus — are all sold individually through Amazon’s Prime Video Channels marketplace, with content streamed from within the Prime Video app.
The bundle allows streamers who want access to five distinct services to save nearly 40 percent off the individual retail cost of each service.
In a statement on Tuesday, Amazon executives touted the new bundle as a first-of-its-kind offering in which five services are offered together at a deeply-discounted rate. (Comcast offers a five-service bundle through its Stream Saver perk, but the deal is only available for Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet customers, so it is limited to areas where Comcast offers service.)
“Today marks a milestone for our customers, the launch of the first-ever five-service streaming bundle on Prime Video,” Ryan Pirozzi, the Head of Prime Video Channels, said in a statement. “With AMC Plus, MGM Plus, BritBox, PBS Masterpiece and Starz together, Prime Video customers get the premium entertainment they love, all in one place.”
Amazon’s new streaming bundle might actually be a better deal for the participating services than anyone else: Data from Antenna shows Prime Video to be a significant driver of new subscription sign-ups to niche services that otherwise might struggle to market their products to TV and movie watchers. According to a report from 2024, Prime Video accounted for nearly 60 percent of all sign-ups to niche services.
Amazon has also proven itself to be an interest driver to larger services as well, with Fox One seeing a steady boost in subscriptions after it became available through Prime Video.
Niche and specialty services are having a moment in the streaming world, with Antenna’s data showing smaller services that are focused on core genres or demographics accounting for the largest increase in new customer sign-ups during the second quarter of this year.
Antenna’s data shows more than one-third of U.S. streaming customers have transacted with a specialty SVOD service, up from 26 percent two years ago. The number of consumers who used a specialty SVOD service grew from 41 million in the second quarter of 2024 to 63.6 million in the second quarter of 2026.
