Tubi, Amazon expand Creatorverse partnership to Fire TV

Tubi and Amazon are expanding their partnership to bring Tubi’s Creatorverse programming to Fire TV devices, giving viewers easier access to creator-led content while offering advertisers new opportunities to reach streaming audiences through Amazon’s demand-side platform.

Beginning this month, Fire TV users across the United States will be able to discover and access Creatorverse programming directly from Fire TV and Fire tablet devices. The expanded integration will surface exclusive Creatorverse series, films and other content across genres including horror, animation, food and beauty, allowing viewers to launch programming directly in the Tubi app.

The companies also are extending their advertising relationship. Under the agreement, advertisers using Amazon DSP will receive priority access to advertising inventory within Creatorverse, enabling brands to more easily buy campaigns targeting audiences consuming creator-driven programming on Tubi.

The partnership builds on Tubi’s broader effort to position Creatorverse as a destination where digital creators can distribute content alongside traditional film and television programming.

“Tubi is building a bridge to Hollywood for creators, a destination where their content lives alongside Hollywood’s biggest hits,” Rachel Berk, the Senior Vice President of Distribution Platform Partnerships at Fox and Tubi, said in a statement. She said the expanded relationship with Amazon will increase exposure for creators while giving advertisers access to emerging streaming audiences.

Charlotte Maines, the Vice President of Devices Content & Advertising at Amazon, said making creator-led programming easier to discover aligns with Fire TV’s goal of improving content discovery while creating additional advertising opportunities.

Creatorverse launched one year ago as part of Tubi’s strategy to support digital-native creators. Since then, the service has grown to include more than 20,000 episodes from over 300 creators, contributing to Tubi’s broader catalog that reaches more than 100 million monthly active users.

The platform has released exclusive programming featuring creators including Joey Graceffa, Celina Myers, Keith Lee, KevOnStage, Bob the Drag Queen and Kinigra Deon. Tubi also has expanded Creatorverse beyond original series and films by adding video podcasts, including “Crime Junkie,” “The Deck,” “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” and “Rotten Mango.” Additional podcasts, including “What Now? with Trevor Noah” and “The School of Greatness,” are scheduled to join the platform later this year.
