A streaming simulcast of Super Bowl LXI will be available through the Walt Disney Company’s platform Disney Plus when it airs in mid-February 2027, the company announced at an industry event this week.
The streaming service will offer the same broadcast as ABC and ESPN, hosted by Joe Buck and Troy Aikman with sideline reports by Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge, when the game kicks off on February 14 in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood.
The Super Bowl will be available through Disney Plus in more than 55 international markets, including Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. ESPN’s linear networks will distribute the game across more than 130 countries and territories.
Disney said in August that it had already sold out advertising inventory for Super Bowl LXI.
Before the Super Bowl, Disney Plus will stream two “Monday Night Football” games during the regular season. The first will feature the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Philadelphia Eagles on October 26. Disney has not announced the second matchup.
Additionally, ABC has struck an arrangement with Dick Clark Productions to offer a streaming simulcast of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, with the stream available through Disney Plus as well.
It will mark the first time that ABC has used Disney Plus to broaden the reach of the flagship New Year’s Eve-to-New Year’s Day program, which averaged nearly 20 million viewers last year. Performers have yet to be announced; Disney expanded the program to six hours last year, and will add an additional two hours to the show this year.
